Vision

Prisoners and ex-offenders receive ongoing befriending and practical support to live well, in a supportive community, equipping them to make positive and permanent change to their lives and refraining from crime.

Mission

To deliver the highest standards of care and support to ex-offenders, the homeless and other vulnerable adults, in the provision of residential and non-residential resettlement, health, welfare and training services.

Values

Cornergate Foundation is a Christian-based charitable organisation.  Notwithstanding our beliefs, our services do not depend upon the individual agreeing to ‘become a Christian’ and our support is offered without reference to whether that person is a Christian or claims adherence to any faith or adopts one at any time.

We uphold high standards of conduct for the good of all our staff, volunteers and our clients.  We value personal integrity, honesty, generosity of spirit and reliability. These are of particular value as we seek to promote the standing of our clients to employers and society at large. 

Whilst we will rigorously risk assess each referral for practical reasons, we are less concerned with the person’s past than their future and believe that with care, education, nurture and support, people can change.
